Mammoth Hot Springs Post Office

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Mammoth Hot Springs Post Office was build in the 1930’s. Featuring walls of travertine on the interior and a concrete exterior, its design was used “to provide a symbol of the monumental presence of the federal government in its post offices.” -nps.gov

Before beginning, remove all the Post Office pieces from your storage box.

You should have 13 pieces. 

Step 1

First, insert the Front Step into each of the Bear Statue Walls. Always make sure the engraved details are facing out.

Parts needed: Front Step, Bear Statue Wall (x2)

Step 2

Now slide the two Interior Walls up into the the two large slots of the Bear Statue Walls.

Parts needed: Interior Wall (x2)

Step 3

Next slide the Rear Wall and the Front Wall into the correct slots in the Bear Statue Walls.

Parts needed: Front Wall, Rear Wall

Step 4

Slide the two Side Walls up into the front and rear walls.

Parts needed: Side Wall (x2)

Step 5

Snap the Front Roof and the Rear Roof into place.

Parts needed: Front Roof, Rear Roof

Step 6

Snap the two Side Roof pieces into place.

Parts needed: Side Roof (x2)
