Hey, I’m Caleb, and I love good design & National Parks.
I’ve always wanted a way to remember and show off my adventures, but could never find anything more than cheesy souvenirs and poorly-designed collectibles. So I created something beautiful I was proud to display in my home.
The Explorer’s Map is my way of remembering my adventures, while also inspiring me to get back out there and see more. I hope it inspires you too.
We’re committed to being kind to our planet.

We use almost no plastic anywhere in our product - in fact the thin nylon coating on our hanging wire is the only plastic found anywhere in our product and packaging. It takes serious effort (and money) to avoid using plastics, but we think it’s crazier to use packaging that will sit in a landfill and outlive us all.

Our packaging was designed with a focus on recyclability. For example, our tokens will actually ship in a re-used cardboard sleeve that we laser cut at home. This means we can literally re-use cardboard that we find around us - Amazon boxes, other product packaging, etc. And then you can still recycle that material and give it yet another life.

We wanted our map manufacturers to be located nearby for many reasons, but this was one of the main ones. Our maps our printed in Chicago, and we actually transport them ourselves. In fact, our entire product is made in the U.S., which means no wasting resources on overseas shipping!
